  • Account information — business name, contact name, email, phone, zip code, and service types you provide during signup.
  • Service area — zip codes you choose to receive leads for.
  • Activity — leads you claim, claim timestamps, and plan usage.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store only a customer identifier and subscription status; we do not see or store your card number.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, device, and basic usage logs needed to operate the service securely.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Match you with cleaning opportunities in your service area.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the platform.
  • Process subscription payments and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate about your account, approvals, leads, and changes to the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Customers — when you claim a lead, the customer receives your business contact details so they can reach you.
  • Service providers — vendors that help us run Mopiq, including hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing (Stripe). They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mopiq or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the successor.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may break sign-in and other core features.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support disputes, fraud prevention, tax, and other legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Your Rights).

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and row-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

8. Children's Privacy

Mopiq is intended for businesses and individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International Users

Mopiq is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated by email.
